Enterprise Singapore is organising the Wholesale Trade Industry Digital Plan – Validation Workshop on 7 September and we would like to invite industry suppliers who focuses on “Wholesale” as a business to join the session.

Wholesale Trade in Singapore is highly developed and robust. Accounting for 15.7 per cent of Singapore’s gross domestic product in 2017, it comprises over 35,000 firms and employs more than 325,000, accounting for 9 per cent of Singapore’s workforce. Global Trade has been undergoing a digital transformation.

To aid companies transform and capture business opportunities arising from digitalisation,  Enterprise Singapore (ESG) has collaborated with partners from both the public and private sectors in designing the Wholesale Trade Industry Digital Plan (WST IDP). Digitalisation not only brings business growth opportunities. It can help businesses enhance their productivity and through B2B marketplaces, companies can co-share services such as logistics and financing, enjoying economics of scale.

To help companies tap on the opportunities from digitalisation, ESG would like to invite members in the trade associations and chambers of commerce to attend the following session:  “Wholesale Trade Industry Digital Plan — Validation Workshop”
